Day1

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens, & Shankaracharya Temple

Srinagar

Morning: Arrival in Srinagar
- Arrive in Srinagar, transfer to houseboat or hotel on Dal Lake.
- Enjoy a traditional welcome drink, Kashmiri Kahwa, upon arrival.
Late Morning: Dal Lake & Shikara Ride
- Experience a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake, passing by floating gardens, markets, and houseboats.
- Stop by the floating bazaar to see and buy local goods such as flowers and vegetables.
Lunch
- Lunch at the houseboat or lakeside restaurant serving Kashmiri cuisine such as Rogan Josh and Dum Aloo.
Afternoon: Mughal Gardens
- Visit the famous Mughal Gardens: Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Explore their terraced lawns, cascading fountains, and lush greenery.
Evening: Shankaracharya Temple
- Visit Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic views of Srinagar, Dal Lake, and the surrounding mountains.

Dinner

- Enjoy views of the Sindh River and snow-capped peaks along the drive.
Late Morning: Thajiwas Glacier
- Arrive at Sonamarg and take a trek or pony ride to reach the Thajiwas Glacier, known for its breathtaking beauty.
- Enjoy snow-covered peaks, pristine meadows, and crystal-clear glacial streams. Option for a snowball fight or just relax in nature.
Lunch
