Day-wise Itinerary
Day1
Day 1: Delhi to Shimla – Arrival & Local Exploration

Shimla

  • Morning: Depart from Delhi
    • Start your journey from Delhi at 6:00 AM. The drive takes around 7-8 hours (350-370 km). Alternatively, take the Shatabdi Express to Kalka (6-7 hours), then board the Toy Train to Shimla (5-6 hours), enjoying the scenic route.
  • Afternoon: Arrival in Shimla
    • Check into your hotel (The Oberoi Cecil, Willow Banks, or similar). Relax after your long journey. Enjoy lunch at the hotel or a nearby café. Try local dishes like Siddu, Chana Madra, and Rogan Josh.
  • Evening: Mall Road & The Ridge
    • Explore Mall Road, which is Shimla\\\\\\\'s main shopping street, known for its woolens, wooden handicrafts, and local artifacts. Visit The Ridge for panoramic views, stop by Christ Church and Gaiety Theatre, and take a walk to Scandal Point.
  • Dinner:
    • Dine at Café Shimla Times, Indian Coffee House, or other popular local restaurants offering Himachali and continental cuisine.

Day2
Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing – Jakhoo Temple, Kufri & Adventure

Shimla

  • Morning: Jakhoo Temple
    • Start your day early with a visit to Jakhoo Temple, located on Shimla’s highest point (2,455 meters). The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Hike to the temple or take a taxi.
