Day1

Day 1: Arrival in Rameshwaram – Spiritual Start with Local Temples & Memorials

Day 1: Arrival at Rameshwaram – Local Temples & Sunset Point Arrive at Rameshwaram Railway Station or via road from Madurai and check-in to the hotel. Visit Lakshmana Tirtham, Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple with floating stone, Rama Tirtham, and Sita Kund. Pay homage at the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial. In the evening, enjoy the peaceful coastal view near Kothandaramaswamy Temple. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 2: Rameshwaram Jyotirling Darshan – Temple Rituals and Sacred Theerthams

Day 2: Rameshwaram Jyotirling Darshan and Temple Theerthams Begin early with sacred darshan at Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, and perform bath rituals at 22 Theerthams. Visit Agni Theertham sea ghat, followed by a trip to Villoondi Theertham, a sweet water spring in the sea. Later, visit Gandhamadhana Parvatham to view Lord Rama’s footprints. Evening is free for leisure or local shopping. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 3: Excursion to Dhanushkodi – Ram Sethu Point and Coastal Divine Sites

Day 3: Dhanushkodi Excursion and Coastal Darshan After breakfast, depart for a thrilling visit to Dhanushkodi – the abandoned town at the southern tip, where you’ll see Ram Sethu Point, old church ruins, and the shoreline. En route back, visit Kodandarama Temple by the sea, Jada Theertham where Lord Rama washed his hair, and revisit any missed temples. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 4: Final Darshan, Local Exploration and Departure

Day 4: Check-out and Departure After breakfast, enjoy some free time for final darshan or shopping. Check-out from hotel and proceed for departure to Rameshwaram Railway Station or drive back to Madurai with blessings of Lord Shiva.
