Day-wise Itinerary

Day1

Day 1: Jammu / Srinagar / Pahalgam

Pahalgam

Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Pahalgam: Upon arrival at Jammu Railway Station or Srinagar Airport, meet our tour representative and begin your scenic drive towards Pahalgam. If arriving from Jammu (250 km, 8–9 hrs), enjoy picturesque views of the Tawi River, Nag Temple, and hills of Udhampur. If starting from Srinagar (90 km, 2.5 hrs), en route visit the Saffron fields of Pampore, ruins of Avantipur Temple, and Apple orchards near Anantnag. Upon reaching Pahalgam, enjoy a riverside walk along the Lidder River or explore the charming local bazaar. Optional visits to Betaab Valley and Aru Valley by local taxi. Overnight stay at hotel in Pahalgam.

Day2

Day 2: Pahalgam / Chandanwari / Trek to Sheshnag

Day 2 – Trek Begins: Pahalgam ? Chandanwari ? Sheshnag: After breakfast, transfer 16 km to Chandanwari (2,895 m), the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra trek. ? Note: From Chandanwari onwards, no motor vehicles are permitted. Begin your 13 km moderate trek through scenic alpine forests and meadows. Ascend via Pissu Top and pass through Zojibal and Nagakoti, reaching Sheshnag Lake, a beautiful glacier-fed emerald lake surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Rest and acclimatize at the tented accommodation. Overnight stay in Sheshnag base camp.

Day3

Day 3: Sheshnag / Panchtarni / Holy Cave / Return to Panchtarni / Baltal

Panchtarni / Baltal

Day 3 – Sheshnag to Panchtarni to Holy Cave ? Panchtarni/Baltal: Begin your early morning trek (13 km) from Sheshnag to Panchtarni (3,650 m), passing through rugged terrain, icy trails, and panoramic glacier valleys. From Panchtarni, continue 6 km to reach the sacred Amarnath Cave (3,888 m), home to the divine Ice Shivling. Perform darshan and rituals amidst chants of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Har Har Mahadev.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" Post darshan, return back 6 km to Panchtarni or descend 14 km to Baltal (if physically possible). Trek route includes Mahagunas Top and Sangam Valley. Overnight stay in Panchtarni or Baltal base camp.

Day4

Day 4: Panchtarni / Baltal / Sonmarg

Sonmarg

Day 4 – Baltal to Sonmarg: After breakfast, complete any remaining trek from Panchtarni to Baltal (if needed). At Baltal, rejoin your cab. Drive 15 km to the scenic valley of Sonmarg (2,730 m). Post lunch, visit Thajiwas Glacier via pony ride or 4x4 jeep, known for snow activities and picturesque surroundings. Weather permitting, drive further to Zoji La Pass or Zero Point for Himalayan snow views. Overnight stay at hotel in Sonmarg.

Day5

Day 5: Sonmarg to Srinagar (85 km / 2.5 hrs)

Srinagar

Day 5 – Sonmarg to Srinagar (Full Sightseeing): Today, after breakfast, proceed 85 km to Srinagar (approx. 2.5 hours). Begin sightseeing with a visit to Shankaracharya Temple offering panoramic views of Srinagar city and Dal Lake. Explore Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi Mughal gardens. Later, enjoy a peaceful Shikara ride on Dal Lake and visit the Hazratbal Shrine. You can explore floating markets or relax at Boulevard Road. Overnight stay in Srinagar houseboat or hotel.

Day6

Day 6: Srinagar to Jammu (270 km / 8–9 hrs) OR Srinagar Airport (15 km / 30 mins)

Day 6 – Departure: Srinagar to Jammu or Srinagar Drop: Post breakfast, depart as per your mode of return. You may drive 270 km back to Jammu (approx. 8–9 hrs) or opt for a drop at Srinagar Airport (15 km, 30 mins). En route (if returning by road), stop at Martand Sun Temple, Kheer Bhawani Temple, or Verinag Spring for blessings and scenic views. Yatra concludes with the divine darshan of Baba Barfani and eternal blessings of Lord Shiva.
