Late Morning: Arrive in Haridwar and check-in at hotel, freshen up for local sightseeing.

Sightseeing in Haridwar:

  • Mansa Devi Temple: Reach via ropeway to seek blessings and enjoy panoramic views.
  • Chandi Devi Temple: Located on Neel Parvat, accessible by cable car or trek.
  • Bharat Mata Mandir: A multi-storey temple dedicated to Mother India, representing unity in diversity.
  • Shanti Kunj: A peaceful spiritual center of the Gayatri Pariwar for meditation and learning.
  • Har Ki Pauri: Witness the divine Ganga Aarti in the evening, a magical spiritual experience by the riverbank.

Evening: Explore local markets or enjoy riverside walk.

Overnight Stay: Return to hotel in Haridwar for rest and night halt.

Day 2: Haridwar to Sonprayag

Day 2: Haridwar to Sonprayag – Morning: Depart from Haridwar for Sonprayag (approx. 8–9 hour drive, 235 km) via NH7 through the majestic Garhwal Himalayas; Note: If Haridwar sightseeing was not done on Day 1, visit Har Ki Pauri (sacred Ganga ghat), Mansa Devi Temple (via ropeway), and Chandi Devi Temple in the morning; En route sightseeing: In Rishikesh, explore Triveni Ghat, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Sivananda Ashram; stop at Dharidevi Temple (Goddess Kali shrine on the Alaknanda River near Srinagar) for blessings and scenic views; witness river confluences at Devprayag (Alaknanda + Bhagirathi = Ganga) and Rudraprayag (Alaknanda + Mandakini); Evening: Arrive and check-in at hotel in Sonprayag; Overnight Stay: Sonprayag.

Day 4: Kedarnath to Sonprayag – Morning: Attend the peaceful morning Aarti at Kedarnath Temple amidst Himalayan serenity; Late Morning: Begin descent via 16 km trek to Gaurikund, followed by a drive to Sonprayag; Afternoon: Rest and rejuvenate at the hotel after the trek; Evening (Optional): If time and energy permit, visit the sacred Triyuginarayan Temple, believed to be the divine wedding site of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati; Note: If not covered today, the visit to Triyuginarayan can be done next morning before onward travel; Overnight Stay: Sonprayag.

  • Morning: After breakfast, drive from Sonprayag to **Badrinath**. The drive takes about **5-6 hours** (approximately **180 km**) and passes through scenic landscapes, including river valleys, small towns, and hills. The journey is beautiful and peaceful, offering views of the **Alakananda River** and surrounding mountains.
  • Arrival at Badrinath: Upon arrival at **Badrinath**, check into your accommodation and relax. Freshen up before you head out to visit the temple.
  • Afternoon Visit to Badrinath Temple: Visit the famous **Badrinath Temple**, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, dedicated to **Lord Vishnu**. The temple is at an altitude of **3,133 meters**, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Take part in the **afternoon aarti** or just spend some time soaking in the spiritual atmosphere.
  • Explore Nearby Attractions: If time allows, visit nearby **Mana Village** (the last village before Tibet) or take a short trip to **Vasudhara Falls**, a scenic waterfall. Both attractions are near Badrinath and offer additional natural beauty and peace.
  • Evening: Return to your accommodation after exploring and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
  • Overnight Stay: Stay the night in **Badrinath** for a good rest after a spiritually enriching day.
