Accommodation: Sitapur/Sonprayag

Day 1: Haridwar to Sonprayag – Morning: Depart from Haridwar for Sonprayag (approx. 8–9 hour drive, 235 km) via NH7 through the majestic Garhwal Himalayas; En route sightseeing: in Haridwar visit Har Ki Pauri (sacred Ganga ghat), Mansa Devi Temple (via ropeway), and Chandi Devi Temple; in Rishikesh explore Triveni Ghat, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Sivananda Ashram; stop at the revered Dharidevi Temple (Goddess Kali shrine on Alaknanda River near Srinagar) for spiritual blessings and scenic beauty; witness sacred river confluences at Devprayag (Alaknanda + Bhagirathi = Ganga) and Rudraprayag (Alaknanda + Mandakini); Evening: Arrive and check-in at hotel in Sonprayag, enjoy dinner; Overnight Stay: Sonprayag.

Sightseeing in Kedarnath: Kedarnath Temple: One of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva; Bhairav Temple: Located near Kedarnath Temple, known for guarding the valley. Day 4: Sonprayag to Badrinath

Day 4: Sonprayag to Badrinath

  • Morning: After breakfast, drive from Sonprayag to Badrinath. The drive takes about 5-6 hours (approximately 180 km) and passes through scenic landscapes, including river valleys, small towns, and hills. The journey is beautiful and peaceful, offering views of the Alakananda River and surrounding mountains.
  • Arrival at Badrinath: Upon arrival at Badrinath, check into your accommodation and relax. Freshen up before you head out to visit the temple.
  • Afternoon Visit to Badrinath Temple: Visit the famous Badrinath Temple, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is at an altitude of 3,133 meters, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Take part in the afternoon aarti or just spend some time soaking in the spiritual atmosphere.
  • Explore Nearby Attractions: If time allows, visit nearby Mana Village (the last village before Tibet) or take a short trip to Vasudhara Falls, a scenic waterfall. Both attractions are near Badrinath and offer additional natural beauty and peace.
