Day-by-Day Itinerary
Haridwar → Sonprayag
🌄 DAY 1 – Haridwar → Mussoorie → Sonprayag
Distance: ~290 km | Drive Time: 10–11 Hours
Your spiritual journey begins at Haridwar, one of the seven holiest cities of India.
🔹 Morning – Haridwar Sightseeing (Self-Managed)
Guests are advised to complete local Haridwar sightseeing by their own before pickup, which may include:
• Har Ki Pauri (Holy Ganga Ghats)
• Mansa Devi / Chandi Devi Temples
• Local temples and ashrams
➡️ Pickup from Haridwar will be done by 10:00 AM sharp.
🔹 Scenic & Spiritual Route
• Drive towards Mussoorie
• Halt at Kempty Falls for refreshment and relaxation
Continue the journey via:
Rishikesh → Devprayag → Rudraprayag → Ukhimath
🔹 En-Route Temple Visit
• Dhari Devi Temple – a powerful Shakti Peeth believed to protect the Char Dham region
Arrive at Sonprayag by late evening. Dinner and proper rest to prepare for the Kedarnath trek.
🛏 Overnight Stay: Sonprayag
Sonprayag → Kedarnath
🕉️ DAY 2 – Sonprayag → Gaurikund (by Shuttle) → Kedarnath
Trek Distance: 18 km (One Way)
• Early morning Sonprayag → Gaurikund transfer by government-approved shuttle service
• Begin the sacred 18 km Kedarnath trek
Options available (at own cost):
• Trek by foot
• Pony / Doli
• Helicopter (subject to weather & availability)
On arrival, proceed for Kedarnath Temple Darshan followed by evening Aarti.
🛏 Overnight Stay: Kedarnath
Kedarnath → Sonprayag
🔱 DAY 3 – Kedarnath →Sonprayag
• Early morning Kedarnath Darshan
• Trek down to Gaurikund
🔹 Sacred Temple Visits
• Triyoginarayan Temple – the divine wedding site of Lord Shiva & Goddess Parvati
➤ Temple visit by shuttle as per local administration
• Ukhimath Temple – winter seat of Kedarnath & Omkareshwar Mahadev
Return to Sonprayag for rest and recovery.
🛏 Overnight Stay: Sonprayag
Sonprayag → Tungnath
🌿 DAY 4 – Sonprayag → Chopta → Tungnath
Drive: ~45 km | Trek: 3.5 km (One Way)
• Drive to Chopta, known as Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand
• Trek to Tungnath Temple, the world’s highest Shiva temple
• Optional trek to Chandrashila Peak (weather & fitness permitting)
Return to Chopta and enjoy peaceful alpine surroundings.
🛏 Overnight Stay: Chopta
Chopta → Haridwar Drop
🌊 DAY 5 – Chopta → Rishikesh Sightseeing → Haridwar Drop
Distance: ~260 km | Drive Time: 9–10 Hours
After breakfast, begin the return journey.

• Ram Jhula
• Laxman Jhula
• Parmarth Niketan Ashram
• Ganga Aarti (time permitting)
Post sightseeing, continue drive to Haridwar. Drop by evening, concluding the sacred Kedarnath & Tungnath Yatra.
