Morning:
Arrival at Jammu: Arrive at Jammu Airport or Railway Station. Depending on your arrival time, you may want to have a light breakfast at a local café or at the airport/railway station.
Transfer to Katra: After arrival, take a taxi or pre-arranged transport to Katra, which is approximately 50 km away (around a 2-hour drive). Enjoy the scenic views of the countryside as you make your way to Katra.
Mid-Morning:
Check into Hotel: Upon reaching Katra, check into your hotel. Freshen up and take a moment to relax after your journey.
Afternoon:
Lunch: Head out for lunch at a local restaurant. You can try some regional cuisine or opt for familiar dishes.
Travel to Patnitop: Post-lunch, check out from your hotel and start your journey to Patnitop. The distance to Patnitop is about 110 km from Katra, which will take approximately 3 hours. The drive is picturesque, with beautiful views of the mountains, forests, and valleys.
Evening:
Arrive in Patnitop: Upon arrival in Patnitop, check into your hotel.
Explore Patnitop: Spend the evening exploring the natural beauty of Patnitop. You can visit Patnitop Meadows, which are lush green and perfect for a leisurely stroll. If you’re feeling adventurous, consider paragliding or trekking in the area.
Dinner: Enjoy dinner at your hotel or at a nearby restaurant. Take in the serene atmosphere of the hills and relax.
Overnight:
Stay in Patnitop: Rest for the night at your hotel, preparing for the next day’s adventure.
Morning:
Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel while taking in the morning views of the mountains.
Check Out: After breakfast, check out from your hotel and prepare for the day’s journey.
Travel to Shiv Khori: Depart for Shiv Khori (approximately 70 km away, about a 3-hour drive). The route is scenic, so keep your camera handy for some beautiful shots along the way.
Mid-Morning:
Visit Shiv Khori: Arrive at Shiv Khori, known for its sacred cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The cave features a natural Shiva Lingam and is a significant pilgrimage site.
Explore the Temple: Take your time to explore the temple and soak in the spiritual atmosphere. The cave is about 150 meters long, and the trek to the cave entrance offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
Spiritual Experience: Spend some time in meditation or prayer, reflecting on the serene environment.
Afternoon:
Lunch: After your visit, you can have lunch at a local eatery near Shiv Khori or pack a light meal to enjoy on the way.
Depart for Jammu: After lunch, begin your journey to Jammu (approximately 110 km, around 3 hours).
Late Afternoon:
Explore Jammu (Optional): If time permits, you can visit some local attractions in Jammu:
- Raghunath Temple: One of the largest temples in North India, dedicated to Lord Rama.
- Ranbireshwar Temple: Famous for its numerous Shiva Lingams, this temple is a peaceful place to visit.
- Local Markets: If you have time, explore local markets for souvenirs, handicrafts, and local snacks.
Evening:
Drop Off: Finally, head to Jammu Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Ensure you leave with ample time to reach your departure point, considering traffic and other factors.

- Booking amount plan: pay the booking confirmation amount now, 70% of the total at pickup, and the remaining balance (30% minus the booking amount) on the last day before you return from the hills.
